Burger Planet is Releasing a New Line of Healthier Foods

LOGAN, Utah--Remember when the term "healthy burger joint" used to be an oxymoron? No longer. Burger Planet has released a new line of healthy foods to accomodate its more health-concious customers. Along with offering a wider variety of healthy foods, Burger Planet has also hired fitness guru Jayne Petersen, president and CEO of multi-million dollar fitness and health enterprise Looking Glass Inc., as its spokesperson. Petersen caught the public's attention by helping famous talk show host Opal Whitcomb lose 75 pounds.

"Burger Planet cares about its customers," says company CEO James E. Muellenbach III. "We listen to our customers... And our customers desire healthy choices." Muellenbach also stressed that while more menu options are being made available, Burger Planet's classic burgers and fries will still be available.

To jumpstart the awareness of healthier menu options, Petersen has joined the Burger Planet team to motivate women everywhere to become healthier. "Burger Planet has been a leader... in offering healthy menu choices," says Petersen. "The company believes in encouraging customers to live healthier, active lifestyles. I have spent my life trying to teach women that lesson."

Burger Planet's new line of menu options includes gourmet salads, white meat chicken breasts, and several different varieties of fruit.

Burger Planet was founded more than seven decades ago by current CEO Muellenbach III's father, James E. Muellenbach I. Muellenbach I began selling burgers in the 1930s in an Indiana shack, and watched as the young company grew to be the world's largest fast-food restaurant chain.

  1. Don't use "...", people don't like that. I think when I see that,"What did he take out?"

I don't think that your first sentence is appropriate for a press release, maybe for a feature story in a magazine. I don't think that it is that catchy. I really like your last three paragraphs. I think though, your contact info should be more detailed.

    Good job.
